I discovered the brand in New World Blenheim last month and was intrigued by the plain packaging. Bought Kahurangi and loved the strength of the coffee! Decided to get the sample pack and so far I have not been disappointed! Mad Harry is something else again . Have always been disappointed with the strength of the coffee in NZ, but now it have found my favourite brand !
Also like your no cooperative branding , another reason to support you !

I have recently returned to Kawatiri Coffee after a few years away, having tried many different brands with mixed results.
After my espresso machine died I bought a fully manual lever device & a decent grinder & found Kawatiri Coffee in the supermarket.
Okari Dark is now my go to, & works well in my machine, with good crema & flavours.
When the supermarket shelves emptied over the last few weeks other brands couldn’t cut it, so ordered direct & will now continue doing so knowing it’s freshly roasted (essential for the best coffee) with great service from the team!

I have currently returned from a 3 month stint away and am so glad to have access to this gorgeous coffee again. Such a lovely, rich, smooth taste.

my wife saw this on the shelf in a supermarket in Westport when I was looking for coffee & as it was locally made I brought some, Really good coffee love the taste, normally get my coffee from a small local roaster in Heathcote Valley Christchurch & this dare I say is better. Thank You.

Another wonderful coffee option from these master coffee roasters, great for espresso/macchiato and plunger. Love the rich dark flavours without bitterness and love the freshness of the roasts. I wish my local cafes used your beans…

This coffee packs a flavourful punch, perfect espresso as well as a really nice plunger coffee. Great extraction with nice crema from my machine, well rounded deep flavours with no bitterness. Would be the nicest coffee I have tried in over 30 years of my little addiction!

I love a great black black coffee. And parcial to a splash of cream but if you can see through it it’s not strong enough 🙂

I brew in a pottery pot then sive. This is my favourite flavor capture 🙂
